I think you need to set it at [1]. In that case, your test requirements will also be installed during the job. Thanks Ihar, the issue is, the only change was, to remove the upper boundary from Django=1.4.2,1.7 And removing 1.7 from that line resulted in not installing django-nose any more. Thanks Ihar, the issue is, the only change was, to remove the upper boundary from Django=1.4.2,1.7 And removing 1.7 from that line resulted in not installing django-nose any more. The code from the new django version may behave differently, requiring nose plugin installed while the old version didn't. If that's the case, the real problem is probably that django does not require the plugin in their requirements.txt. That said, you may still workaround it with DEVSTACK_GATE_INSTALL_TESTONLY=1. /Ihar -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJVDBVGAAoJEC5aWaUY1u57p6MIAIHHYg30nXEQddQVAFFaQXcV 4IloryE+tAxftlN2JKz2KmsGBrO3KL/Iv9xA+oylqc/rZaq33I77lbm5iZoF10vf ZBdHyJQ9b4rK9beiOIqdk6H7C0NEYYscCw5vMfZaI1UwQxo2XXkFunLTwIImyUq7 jI2KyT7oAhgIesZswnfu63Eqa8aETRhqguW57svh6GKChC+cMIBSs8VMQuPWWF14 wLSfmCYFtQWDcPXKYPB7BakZXilpLPzu/lksPmE4tj6KLi2UHCaJXJlW784ZKWEW gD9AGtKZVL6+mCDVWd7iBCetQXU6unSyoX+VSE6GWjcPHsI/m+w1854z4SQbNcY= =C9Fh -END PGP SIGNATURE- __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
[openstack-dev] [infra][horizon] Need help at debugging requirements issue
Hello, I was trying to raise the cap for Django in[1]. It looks quite simple, current requirements is Django=1.4.2,1.7 and I simply removed the upper boundary: Django=1.4.2 with the result, django-nose is not installed any more. (That's a rest dependency for horizon), it's listed in the same global-requirements file: django-nose (no version requirement). Sadly, I can not figure out, why that happens and how to fix that. In local tests, this just works. Any hints please?
