Victor, To echo what Sylvain is saying, I think Trove has talked about python 3 for a while now and while it isn’t listed as a blueprint for Newton, I think we’re far enough along that we should see if we can get this completed for the Newton cycle.
Thanks for all your work on this, and also to Abhishek Kekane and Wang Bo who have contributed patches to Trove related to python 3. That doesn't mean we could merge those anytime of course, but I don't think we would procedurally -2 them.
