 Hi,
There are some patches that are relevant to the NFV support. There are
 as follows:

  1. Current exception handling for interface attachment is broken
 - https://review.openstack.org/103091
  2. The V2 port attach is a blocking call. This cannot be changed so a
proposal to have the V3 as non blocking has been posted
 - https://review.openstack.org/103094
  3. Logging hints have been added in Neutron api
 - https://review.openstack.org/#/c/100258/

Hi Gary,

Thanks for that. Could you please update
https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Teams/NFV ?

I'm almost finishing my script for updating automatically a tinified
URL, but until that, I'll reply back to this thread with a new URL once
you update the page.

 Thanks
 Gary

Re: [openstack-dev] [Nova} NFV patches

2014-07-02 Thread Ian Wells
1. [NFV] is a tag.
2. This would appear to be a set of 'review me' mails to the mailing list,
which I believe is frowned upon.
3. garyk's stuff is only questionably [NFV], I would argue, though all
worthwhile patches. (That's a completely subjective judgement, so take it
as you will.)

Might be a better idea in future to join the NFV meeting (which happened,
as ever, 7am PST this morning) and raise it there, or in the #openstack-nfv
channel on freenode (although it's a bit quiet there, admittedly).
