I would also like a spec proposal freeze exception, but not if this leads to a rushed design and a poor implementation that will need to be fixed again during the next cycle. Its far better to get the right design now, even if it means missing the liberty release, than to implement a suboptimal

To be fair this is pushing late into the cycle for adding a new target for Liberty. We already have a very large body of code that has historically not received consistent reviewing. My concern is that we're again rushing things in at the wire and will get a substandard implementation. I wont
