Also you should take a look into octavia documentation [1]. Please remember that we’re in process of killing Neutron-LBaaS v2 (v1 already removed) and we’re working on making Octavia default LBaaS in OpenStack. For now you still need to use nlbaas to use Octavia - which is a reference driver
