I'm looking for the person who entered the "Speed up Ironic deployments
with kexec" topic. I contributed "Boot-to-RAMDISK support in Ironic"
and am interested in knowing if the other contributor would like to
combine these two into a single topic that we can champion.
Thanks,

Hi!
I have an openstack installation done with openstack-ansible
14.0.6-10-g01ff4c8 (Newton). After doing some firmware upgrades on
network switches (while rabbitmq was up and running) I see that I get
alarms when running rabbitmqctl cluster_status:

Hi Tim,
I am guilty of adding the kexec topic to the document. While the two mechanisms
are different, they have the same end goal of accelerating the time between
when the instance is launched and when it is ready for the user.
I would be delighted to work with you to champion both topics
Hi Pierre,

This is mostly directed at operators but I'm cross-posting to the ops
and dev lists.
First, does anyone use the os-hosts API and if so, for what use cases?
The os-hosts and os-services APIs are very similar, and they work on the
same resources (the 'services' records in the nova database).

Hey there,
I noticed that Ihar started working on a change to increase the default quotas
values in Neutron[1]. Personally, I think that makes sense to change it but
I’d like to complement it. So, based on your experience, what should be the
most common quota value for networks, subnets,
Could just avoid Glance snapshots and indeed Nova ephemeral storage
altogether by exclusively booting from volume with your ITAR volume type or

just what JM mentioned earlier then doing so would let you have ITAR and

Hello everyone,
I have recently started to build new deploy images for Ironic in order not to
use the default ones (will need to customize them in a future, so I want to
develop a proper procedure in this area). Apparently I'm struggling with an
issue in ironic-python-agent (stable/ocata)
