No quite right, however it is measured in hops. Distance and remoteness often influence amount of hops. Time is the issue here and time is consumed with every hop. If it takes 30 hops to reach Germany from Alaska and only 10 to reach Japan the decisions is clear. Useful tools, if you currently don
