Subject: [openthinclient-user] Boot Problem
Hi,
I have successfully installed, booted and tested OTC
connect a client directly to the same switch as the server is connected
to and there try it out ?
If it works in the office environment but not in the production environment
with the same clients and server it just has to be in the network.

Hi Pippo,
Have you got any ordinary DHCP server on the production network segment that
the VM can get hold off?

Hi,
I have successfully installed, booted and tested OTC (Windows) in my office
environment without major problems and it works beautifully.
The problems I am having are when I installed it in the production environment.
I can't seem to get one client past the Mounting root file system
Hi,
Is the appliance in English or German ?

Hi Ahmed
Hi,
I am trying out pales by installing the virtual appliance as a VM and also
trying to boot a test thin client VM on Vmware.
The thin client VM starts up finds the server and start booting but stops
with a blank black screen with a cursor top right corner.
I have switched on startup
openthinclient the drivers for the virtual
network adapters are missing right now. They will be integrated in pales in
4 to 6 weeks.
To test in vmware Workstation use consus.
