Two follow-ups:
First of all, I should have specified (though it should be obvious) that
the issue I am having is in the "Credentials" section, under the
"Configuration" menu.
Secondly, I find in openvasmd.log many lines (probably one per attempt)
which say:
lsc_user_exe_recreate: Need "alien"
