Hello, I´ve been trying to install OpenVAS 9 Beta on an Ubuntu 14.04.3 following the guides and installing from the repository ppa:mrazavi/openvas.
openvasmd --rebuild --progress is failing with the error message: Failed to shake hands with peer: The signature algorithm is not supported. This seems to be connected to this issue: http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pipermail/openvas-discuss/2016-January/009179.html This error is fixed in Libraries 8.0.7 but not in Libraries 8.1+beta2. It would be great if the package could be updated, so this error does not hit anybody who tries the OpenVAS 9 Beta on Ubuntu. Thanks, Jens Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With best regards i.A.
