Hello, as we are getting closer to the OpenVAS-9 release, we can have a look at the translations to be supported.
We have 100% German etablished already. For Chinese, French, Russian and Turkish we have large number of OpenVAS-8 translations available. But these need confirmation/adjustments to walk through. A Portuguese translation is in the progress by a community member and makes great progress (at 20% already). We started on Arabic (2%) to see how the right-left style works out. We think it is accetable, though not optimal. Worth to continue with it. All in all we talk about ca. 7400 words to be translated. Anyone interested to contribute to a translation, please let me know. It is easy to do the translations with a web platform where we can provide access. You don't need to know anything about .po and .pot files. You should have a running OpenVAS-9 trunk setup though. Of course a full translation will take a couple of days to do.
