Re: [Openvas-discuss] Controlling default landing page
I have a long list of tasks, so generating the Tasks view takes several minutes with the default Apply Overrides setting as On. I could not find an option to change this. If I am missing it, could we implement it? Generating the list with Overrides Off takes only seconds. An option like this would make my workflows a lot more efficient. Good idea. We've been thinking of introducing some sort of per user settings. Ideally the task page would also load quickly with overrides. -- Greenbone Networks GmbH Neuer Graben 17, 49074 Osnabrueck, Germany | AG Osnabrueck, HR B 202460 Executive Directors: Lukas Grunwald, Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner ___ Openvas-discuss mailing list Openvas-discuss@wald.intevation.org http://lists.wald.intevation.org/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss
Re: [Openvas-discuss] Error in installing ...
Trying to get OpenVAS installed and running on Fedora 14 64-bit - everything went OK until I went to run the openvas-check-setup script. It tells me there is no database, and to run openvasmd -rebuild. When I do this, it aborts and core dumps. Might be the chmod issue. Touch the database before doing the --rebuild touch PREFIXvar/lib/openvas/mgr/tasks.db where PREFIX depends on how you installed (usually /usr/local/ or /). -- Greenbone Networks GmbH Neuer Graben 17, 49074 Osnabrueck, Germany | AG Osnabrueck, HR B 202460 Executive Directors: Lukas Grunwald, Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner ___ Openvas-discuss mailing list Openvas-discuss@wald.intevation.org http://lists.wald.intevation.org/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss

Re: [Openvas-discuss] Controlling default landing page
My system is very fast and has a lot of resources. What could be causing the Overrides to make the page load so slowly? This is on Ubuntu Maverick, just about every system I have built loads the main screen very slowly with Overrides are on.
