[Openvas-discuss] Scanner 'hanging' on Windows Shares over WMI test

OpenVAS users, While scanning certain hosts, it looks like the scanner hangs on the two following tests: gb_ms_wmi_everyone_file-shares.nasl gb_ms_wmi_accessible_shares.nasl This is a SMB-authentified scan. To complete the scan for all hosts, we have to disable the tests in our scan config :

>From what i can tell here in this mailing list it seems like atomic repos don't test their releases and they are releasing some broken packages. I used OpenVAS from atomic repos 8 months ago and the release seemed fine only found 1 minor bug but i'm not an expert user. Fabio Em 22/11/2016
