I like the thoughts - and very much agree with them. I'd say "count me in" -
once of course we figure out what it exactly is ... ;-). That said, I see some
thoughts on this as well in follow on email. Let's try to get a handle on the
"it" first, then perhaps handle how.

Regarding Windows OpenVPN GUI: I have an internal fork of this OpenVPN GUI
(https://github.com/jochenwierum/openvpn-manager) from jochenwierum, with many
bug fixes and improvements, and it works fairly well on Windows. Maybe I should
tidy my patches and open source it on github?
