What debug information should I compile with ? ./Configure -DDEBUG ? Or put
messages from place to place?
I ran openvpn with verb=7 option but once it hangs nothing came from openvrt in
log or screen

I believe your problem is related to the "VPN Service" you are using.
We can only provide limited help with that and will require your client
