I got a batch of 10 Nanostation loco M2 devices produced in 2014 and I
can confirm that they run OpenWrt without problem.
I have updated OpenWrt Wiki with all information I have found out so far:

Atheros ar934x and not ar71xx any more...
Is ar934x supported in OpenWrt?

FYI: AR7241, AR7242, AR9130, and AR9132 were all discontinued as of
December 31, 2013. Manufacturers could place orders for these parts up
until 12/31/2013 with a delivery scheduled until 9/20/2014.
