That there are problems with MikroTik RB411AR and internal WiFi. Is
this (still) true? Any progress? As I would really like to use this
board as it allows me (in theory) to have both N and G radios working
at the same time.

I don't quite understant that but there's no opcontrol related programs after
the system is running.

You need to use kernel 2.6.
Enable
menuconfig-Global build settings-Compile the kernel with profiling enabled
then enable
menuconfig-Development-oprofile
Don't forget to recompile the kernel.
