[OpenWrt-Devel] OpenWRT 64bits kernel
Hello, I need to compile OpenWRT kernel as 2.6.37 64bits kernel in order to track a bug in Xen PCI passthrough with Xen developpers. This bug seems to occur only with 32bits kernels. I compiled a working OpenWRT image 2.6.37 kernel (32bits). Right after, I executed make clean and make from my 64bits env in build_dir/linux-x86_xen_domu/linux-2.6.37. Compilation goes well, but Xen domU crashed. I succeed in running 32bits Debian domU with 64bits kernel, so I think I could do the same with openWRT. Is there anything else to do, like reverting some 32bits specific pacthes ? If yes, which one ? [OpenWrt-Devel] OpenWRT installation as Xen domU with PCI passthrough
As announced, here's my howto installing Openwrt as Xen domU with PCI passthrough, using kernel 2.6.37. Any comment welcome, Regards, JB ___ openwrt-devel mailing list openwrt-devel@lists.openwrt.org https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-devel

Hello everybody, Just a quick mail to inform you that I succeed to make PCI passthrough run with OpenWRT trunk and newly released Linux kernel 2.6.37 :) I'll now write an howto Regards, JB Le 23/12/2010 12:16, Jean Baptiste Favre (OpenWRT-devel) a écrit : Hello, I'm trying to make openwrt running under Xen with PCI passthrough.
