I connected via ssh to the router but when I give ping www.google.com does resolve.

There is insufficient information here to offer much advise. But I suggest you trying pinging 8.8.8.8 to check whether you actually have an internet connection. If that works then you have internet, then try setting your DNS manually to 8.8.8.8 and then try pinging www.google.com. If that works then the problem is most likely with the DHCP (dnsmasq probably) setup, so look there.

If you don't have internet, you going to have lots of fun trying to figure out how to get the 3G dongle to work (which I assume is what your after with this device). That could be as simple as a DHCP request or you might have to get your hands dirty with wvdial.

I didn't realize that openwrt worked on that device, I have one and will give it a go myself at some point.
