Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [multisite] Secgroup syncing Approach

2016-10-10 Thread joehuang
Hello,

the following comment is also added in the doc:

My opinion is to exclude SEG from the sync in Kingbird, because SEG sync action
will lead to data plane in unpredictable situation during multi-region
concurrent CRUD operation, this is some action will greatly impact the tenant's
data plane service immediately, especially SEG is for security purpose.

For KeyPair, because it's user based granularity resource, that means will be
manipulated by single user, so the con-currency is not an issue. But we have to
allow the user being able to start the sync, but not only Admin role

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] OPNFV SPC Polestar WG Call 10/6/2016

2016-10-10 Thread SULLIVAN, BRYAN L
Sounds ok to me, but we need to ensure that project proposal discussions can
take priority, and that we move them efficiently thru the process.

Hi Folks,

I think we may want to think a little loner on this.
I tend to agree that we have overlap in interested parties between the
tech-discuss calls and Polestar which is good and healthy, but I don’t see that
they serve such a common purpose that we would cancel tech-discuss to schedule
a polestar meeting. What happens if someone wants to review a project or
technical contribution that week? I don’t think we should offset the only
general purpose community call we have established.

A longer term solution to this may be to find an alternative time for Polestar
or accept that it may run in parallel to the community meetings.

Because there is not many new project proposals or community issues to discuss

proposals or other community issues for discussion, I will let you and Min know
and we may have alternate weeks.

What do you think?

It is not only about GTM accounts, but about people. There are several people
who want to participate in both.
Can we still solve this?

there shouldn't be conflicts with the technical discussion meeting on Thursday.

Subject: [opnfv-project-leads] [opnfvdocs] [opnfv-tech-discuss] Version control
for generated documents

Hi,

In order to preserve the documents released as part of colorado.1.0, the
location to store colorado.2.0 documents have been changed.

The new location adds version string into the path. For example, the top level
colorado.1.0 release documentation was stored and linked as below.

http://artifacts.opnfv.org/opnfvdocs/colorado/docs/documentation/index.html

This now changed to for any updates that might come for this document.

http://artifacts.opnfv.org/opnfvdocs/colorado/2.0/docs/documentation/index.html

If you plan to do documentation updates as part of colorado.2.0, you should
update the links/references in them accordingly.

This is a step towards applying version control for our generated documents and
same change will be applied for colorado.3.0 as well.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Moreover, I’d like to talk to a way how to access VSPERF project.
Can I send e-mail to Maryam Tahhan

2016-10-10 Thread Christopher Price

Apologies for the inconvenience. We realized late last night that Polestar was
using the same GTM account as the Board meeting and there's an overlap between
Polestar & Board meeting.

This won't be the case going forward...

Hi Dhaval,

To increase timeout and number of tries please modify
/etc/puppet/modules/osnailyfacter/manifests/fuel_pkgs/setup_repositories.pp on
fuel master like here:
https://github.com/openstack/fuel-library/commit/c207efe9627206f1deb6fe684701aa32cfc32465

but first please be sure that network verification end with success for this
environment. Problems with this task are usually connected to the network
problems like NAT through fuel master does not work or problems with resolving
