It's great!

Is it possible to add the date when the project got passed and archived?

Yes, adding "one-liners" is the next area for improvement.

We'll have to use the page properties feature (learning this from Mark),
but that'll have to be added to all the project spaces (50+ of them).
Hopefully I can take a look at that soon :-)

Looks good to me! It makes sense to automate as much as possible the
maintenance of project information, since otherwise the information
easily gets out of sync.

Would it be possible to add the project one-liners as suggested in one
of the comments?

This new page has a couple of benefits. First, we no longer have
separate project categories of requirements, integration & testing,
development, etc. so the new page reflects the current project
lifecycle. Secondly, the new directory page is automatically updated
when a newly approved project space is created so there's no need to

Fear not, the old "approved projects" is still there as a child page
under the new project directory page. As I noted on the page however,
the old page will not be maintained. Once people get used to the new
directory page, I'll go ahead and delete the approved projects page in
a few months.

[opnfv-tech-discuss] New project directory page on the wiki

2017-03-02 Thread Raymond Paik
All,

I decided to replace the old "approved projects" page (
https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Approved+Projects) with a full project
directory page (https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Project+Directory) that
Mark Beierl started last year. I made some updates and checked to make
sure all projects are listed, but please let me know if you feel there are
errors.

This new page has a couple of benefits. First, we no longer have separate
project categories of requirements, integration & testing, development,
etc. so the new page reflects the current project lifecycle. Secondly, the
new directory page is automatically updated when a newly approved project
space is created so there's no need to make manual updates. (Someone from
the LF team will create a new project space on the wiki when a project gets
approved)

Fear not, the old "approved projects" is still there as a child page under
the new project directory page. As I noted on the page however, the old
page will not be maintained. Once people get used to the new directory
page, I'll go ahead and delete the approved projects page in a few months.

Thanks,

Ray
