No, I never made any manual changes to my local Tor config
at all. This was a dynamic event.
I'm running:
Vidalia: 0.0.14
Tor: 0.1.2.17
Usually works great, was just curious about this one message.
Thanks,

Hello everyone :)
I'm a computer science student studying Tor (if necessary I can send the
same mail from my official college mail). I have questions about Tor and the
types of services that use it (in the aspect of the reputation of Tor as a
security parameter). I'd like to talk to anyone from

Hi,
Using tor/vidalia, how can I know the ID number of a tor node? I want to put
some unnamed in my black list, but as a few nodes have the same name, it
looks hard.
What happens if I put just unnamed in the blacklist?

Hi,
I received a notice earlier today stating that Your Tor relay might
be affected by Debain OpenSSL flaw. I had already regenerated my
secret keys following the procedure given in the tor-announce notice
(after having updated ssl/ssh/etc). Regardless, my node still appears
blacklisted. Is

I would rather not get involved in this spat, but I believe that we are all
better off if bullying behaviour is outed. And yes it is bullying to assume
you know another person's motivations and behave in a demeaning, derogatory
way towards them.
Whoever is administering this list, can you please

Don't know if it can be done using Vidalia only, but you could copy the
IP address of the node (which is

You don't have to rename your node. Even after renaming, it will take a
while for your router to be listed as named again.

Hello all,
Is it possible for controller to get current circuit nodes IPs through
GETINFO command? The getinfo address shows local ip instead of current
exit node IP, I think its useless.

You can get current circuits by watching circuit events, or by looking
at the results of GETINFO circuit-status. From there,
