Role: Mobile Tester Consultant Location: Trenton, NJ Duration: 3-6 Months *Rate: $35/hr on C2C is the max and best* The selected candidate will serve as a Tester 3 supporting ongoing client Mobile Application testing efforts, which support a variety of Business Units and Stakeholders throughout client. This project requires an individual who can work independently, under tight testing timelines. The selected candidate must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in team environments following Agile/Sprint development methodologies. On a daily basis, the selected candidate will participate in the following tasks: -Provide hands-on mobile application testing services on iOS platform (Android, RIM, Symbian, Windows expertise preferred, but not required). -Perform testing services in the following areas: -UI/UX Testing -Functional Testing -Regression Testing -Device Compatibility Testing -Usability Testing -Utilize Jira/IBM Rational ClearQuest/JAZZ for issue tracking. -Analyzes the functional requirements and designs Test Scenarios, Test cases with an updated Requirements Traceability Matrix -Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. - Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report. -Knowledge on Testing the app on Emulators is desirable -Excellent verbal and written communication skill -Ability to work independently and under tight testing timelines Required / Desired Skills Hands-on mobile application testing experience on an iOS platform.
