*Position:* Linux Admin - Perl Programming *Location: *Chicago(Naperville), IL / Waukesha, WI *Duration: 12 month* *Need visa copy and photo id for submission* Role name Linux Admin - Perl Programming Role Description The team is working on a redesign of the installation and configuration mechanism of the MR software. This work will include reverse engineering the current installer mechanism, and setting up a new API based installation and configuration mechanism for both the application and OS layers. The team will be using a combination of Perl/Bash/Java-Spring to generate APIs and automation tools to remove as much user interaction from the installation process as possible. *Essential Skills * Linux: Experience in the installation, configuration, and overall management of a Linux system; system level programming, and automating these types of operations. Redhat based OS Perl / Bash: Perl and Bash scripts, regular expressions and Linux system commands. Java: Java Spring, API development, using a combination of Perl, and/or Java, inside an apache or tomcat environment.
