*Description:Resource will be responsible for all delivery related to
software release forprofessional services engagements into hosted
environments.The position will require experience in requirements
gathering, scope definition and environment provisioning in a fast paced,
evolving environment.You will be expected to have a strong understanding of
web services, network connectivity/topology, WebSphere configuration and
automated script deployment tooling.The ideal candidate will have 3-6
years’ experience in this space with an affinitytowards
continuous integrations and automation tooling, evolving into
a DevOps model.Use of industry tools like Subversion, Maven, Jenkins and
Hudson will be required.Exposure and experience in the virtualization
space, utilizing Chef Process framework is a huge plus.We’re looking for
someone with exposure to devops and continuous integrationenvironment
construction, maintenance and support.This will be a challenging position
with lots of opportunity to work on the cutting edge with investment in new
technology, process and tooling to support the evolving space in solution
delivery.You will be afforded the opportunity to design and implement
CM/RM best-practices.Key activities include the following:Managing and
participating in the analysis and planning of changes introduced by product
design groups along.Review and interpret project scope and delivery,
translating into implementationrequirements around hosting, scaling and
solution integration.Interfaces with engineering and IT delivery teams on
solution implementationincluding platform delivery and networking setup to
align with enterprise IT goals and strategy.Understanding of ITIL best
practices working with and processing change request
documentationResponsible for managing aspects of IT projects in a client
serverenvironment including Active/Passive, Active/Active
environments.Prepare appropriate associated documentation and internal
training for transition to Support.*
