troubleshootingCisco Routers/Switches, Cisco ACL'sOSPF, BGPUNIX systems -
e.g. Solaris, Linux, FreeBSDJuniper Firewalls, Checkpoint Appliances,
ProxiesInvestigate and document changes needed to accomplish request from
business lines. This includes any Checkpoint Firewall changes as well as
router changes.Work with Information Security to verify changes are
actually required and conform to Client standards.Implement change requests
on a daily basis, test with clients post change and view firewall logs
after every policy change.Create VLANs on External Routers for
infrastructure connectivity as well as IDS connectivity.Creating VLANs on
Internal Routers for server connectivity. Trunking VLANs down to server
farm switches. Creating and installing Checkpoint objects for initial
firewall policy.Modifying routing protocols as needed to accomplish network
connectivity internally and externally.Troubleshoot connectivity issues as
they arise in Firewall silos.Types include Internet, Intranet, Extranent,
Provider, VPN and Secure Server Farms.Support network deployment day in and
day out on all new infrastructure / firewall build projects.Troubleshoot
connectivity issues and resolve them in order to complete new
installation.Ensure new devices are added to all necessary network
management systems.*
