*Linux Engineer with VMWare* Akron, OH 12-18 + months Interview Process: Phone and Skype. Start date is not until 3/21 Good comm skills Create the infrastructure for a new application/platform for virtual tire design, which will be used globally. Linux and VMWare are key skills. need to have some scripting experience. The application is large, and is compiled code. They are working on making it modularized and web based. Will use a NoSQL back end called MongoDB ( not required) Prefer someone who is open to being hired sometime in 2017, as opposed to a career consultant who doesn't want to go in-house. The HPC is a configuration. It will involve chassis with about 20 servers, each with 4-8 cores, which can be split for higher processing. Will allow for high speed and powerful computing and crunching of large, complex mathematical computations. *Position Description:* Dedicated project infrastructure professional for an 18-21 month engagement at our Akron complex.
