SAP BW Business Analyst MUST have strong BA skills in SAP BW environment MUST have great communication skills with good executive presence Project Description: This is a project that includes the design, development and implementation of a industry standard package for a comprehensive Real Estate and SD&C Document Management solution. The Real Estate system is used to manage strategic and transactional real estate information and processes. It houses the core source data and information for our lease plans, capital and non-capital deals, centers, stores, competitors, co-tenancy, and leases. Position Description: SR Business Analyst. Resource will be an individual contributor working with a larger functional and technical team to migrate functionality for store design and construction business team from a legacy platform to a new enterprise standard platform. Resource will focus on the reporting area specifically but will be required to work with other team members to understand the overall business process, requirements, and design. The resource will be required to work with team members from multiple vendors and LBI. Resource will report directly to Tiffany Doyle. Application / Skill Expertise Required: • Do we need any specific technology experience here? Typical BA is completely technology independent but that is not how we usually use them at LBI. Knowledge of the following is preferred: • SAP BW • SAP Bex Reporting • Crystal Reporting Responsibilities: • IN the context of reporting – o Facilitate sessions with business user to define requirements, document those requirements. o Facilitate sessions with business users to define future state processes and document those processes. o Participate in the recommendations of technology use, gap analysis between tools capabilities and desired requirements, and resolution of the gaps through process or technology. o Document all processes including interactions with the tools or with other users. o Risk identification o Participate in project or solution testing including any of the following; identifying test scenarios, writing test scripts, and executing some test scripts to ensure requirements have been met. o Provide input to organizational change management in the form of assessments of readiness for business to change, impacts to business users, key messages to facilitate understanding for the business users of the changes. • Provide status reporting as required to the project manager and direct supervisor. Skill Level: • Expert in business analysis – 5+ yrs working medium to large projects, worked on multiple projects specifically as a business analyst, may have lead teams of analysts Participation in multiple projects in any capacity through full software development lifecycle • Ability to apply technical knowledge to business situations • Strong communication skills o Ability to facilitate groups up to 25 business persons, o Ability to facilitate meeting where participants have disparate goals or functions within the business, o Ability to communicate effectively with individual contributors up to Director level personnel.
