*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com * Job Title: Java Architect (2 positions) Location: Clemson, SC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Posiiton REQUIRED SKILLS: The Software Engineer role has three major attributes: enterprise-class web application design/architecture, web application development, and effective participation/contribution with business owners and product development leaders. Candidates must display excellence in all areas. • Demonstrated experience leading Java application development efforts • Strong background in enterprise web-application development • Deep knowledge of web-based application architectures and production environments • Understanding of appropriate development and testing tools • Project planning experience • Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to elicit requirements, document system as built, and develop business process models. Strong proficiency in English is required. • Impeccable integrity. This project will have very high visibility and will impact significant expenditures of public funds. Candidates must be confident with their abilities to make correct decisions and the courage to speak out when necessary. • Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis. PREFERRED SKILLS: • Knowledge/use of Tapestry framework • Knowledge/use of Struts framework • SQL Serve database experience • Knowledge/use of Apache Tomcat • Knowledge/use of JBoss • Production experience with Redhat Linux • Use of the Eclipse IDE • Understanding of source control best practices and use of svn • Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience • Medicaid operations experience. • Medicaid eligibility system/business operations experience. • Public sector experience is a plus. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in a technical, business, or field.
