The Network Sr. Consultant will provide strong expertise and leadership in the design of enterprise level production networks. Maintain and manage assessment tools labs and inventory. Lead delivery of network assessments and development of assessment deliverables. P - Possess a deep understanding of network and web related protocols such as, HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, IPSEC, and other routing protocols - Provide capacity planning for all ISP, LAN and WAN bandwidth, network interconnect devices, and data centers. Also, monitor, reconfigure and tune network hardware, firewalls and load balancers for performance improvements and future scalability - Perform and document network operations processes and procedures including installation and testing of network upgrades, fail over, and configuration documentation - Communicate issues clearly to business and technical groups within the company - Travel required *Required Skills, Education & Experience* - BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. MS Strongly preferred. - 5+ years’ experience in leading a team of network engineers - 7-10 years’ experience with all aspects of router and switch network design, installation and configuration for a large-scale, heterogeneous, Internet service environment - Proven track record of leading multiple large networking projects - Thorough understanding of network and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, VRRP and ACLs - Must have a thorough knowledge of and in depth experience with LAN and WAN architectures including Ethernet, T1, E1, DS-3, OC-3 & OC-12 circuits - Must have expertise in network performance assessment and network performance tools. - Knowledge of international circuit provisioning a plus - Must have knowledge of and experience with network management platforms and protocols such as SNMP and RMON - Experience with Juniper and F5 products a plus - Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required - Must have strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to work both as a member of a group and as an individual contributor - Extensive team management experience - Able to remember and recall semantic and factual information. - Significant organization skills and ability to store and recall large volumes of information. - Previous consulting experience preferred Relevant industry certification(s): § Cisco Certified CCNP § Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) ( optional) § A CCNE or CCIE strongly preferred Please revert with your comfort level and updated resume.
