*Location: *Los Angeles, CA *Duration: *6 months (extendable) JOB DESCRIPTION - Client is looking to add a Sr Business Systems Analyst who has a strong background with J.D. Edwards ( JDE ) Enterprise One ( E1 ). - Business Requirements - Follow a standard, structured process for the gathering and prioritizing business requirements. - Interview business users and SMEs to determine business requirements. - Analyze business unit existing systems and flows of data. - Develop and maintain information and documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems. - Engage in data modeling, technical analysis and research alternatives for development of business requirements. - Business Solutions Design - Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability. - Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems. - Draw up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems. - Ensure applications are designed to support instrumentation objectives, rapid enhancement objectives and will provide superior user experiences. - Produce project feasibility reports. - Work closely with Architect, Application Development and business units to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. - Business Solutions Testing - Develop the testing schedule and plan for the solution. - Create business and application use cases. - Investigate new features of application and related technology before release, providing feedback to application development as appropriate. - Conduct standard systems testing and user-acceptance testing. - Ensure changes are properly tested, communicated, schedule and released to minimize any impact to the enterprise. - Investigate new features of application and related technology before release, providing feedback to application development as appropriate.
