Requirements: Experience in the big data space. A successful candidate will have very strong development experience in an object oriented language, preferably including strong Java experience. In addition, they'll have strong automation experience, with tools such as Ansible, terraform and puppet. The candidate will have familiarity with the modern big data stack, including tools such as YARN/HDFS, Spark, Storm, and so on. Experience with very large data sets Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology Understanding and related experience with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Hbase and/or Map/Reduce Basic UNIX OS working skills and Shell Scripting skills ยท Excellent RBMS (Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server) knowledge for development using SQL/PL SQL.
