*Need Business Analyst with SQL, Need EAD-GC,GC And USC* Position: Business Analyst with SQL Location: Philadelphia, PA Duration:12+ Months Responsibilities: We are looking for a strong Business Analyst (BA) to help us define and deliver software tools for Comcast’s advanced video operations team (VIPER Operations) which has recently adopted an Agile framework. In this highly visible position, the Analyst will act as a liaison between various Data and Engineering stakeholders to develop automated solutions to analyze, correlate and report data and insights to stabilize and scale our flag-ship IP video products. The Analyst should possess expertise in the areas they support and (in due time) understand our organization’s systems and capabilities. You will analyze our operation, and those of other teams, to understand strengths and weaknesses and determine opportunities to address inefficiencies via tools useful in automation, inter-system communication, troubleshooting, monitoring and alerting. You will work with technical staff and scrum masters on your team as well as their equivalent peers in other Engineering and Operations departments to gather requirements and work through a backlog of stories and epics. You will evangelize n ethic of constant improvement while providing formal and informal status reports to the Scrum Master, Product Owners, and Directors – occasionally helping to report metrics and insights to executives. Experience in a highly accountable industry as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Engineer is a plus. Prior experience in an Agile environment– particularly leading scrum – is a plus. Requirements: 5 years proven track record delivering insights on data and database structure to Management in a complex ecosystem 5 years exposed to database operations, e.g. architecture, deployments, upgrades. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication as well as organization and time mgmt skills.
