Candidate must possess good verbal and written communications skills, as this is a client facing role. Responsibilities include Participate in requirements gathering sessions and contribute technical expertise on the feasibility / level of effort estimation of solutions. Develop the Technical Design Document, i.e the low level design of templates, some involving integration with third party APIs Development and Unit Testing of assigned requirements Perform code review with team/client resources and incorporate feedback Perform deployment/publishing of content and code to upper environments Perform functional validation in upper environments to ensure deployment is successful Support testing cycles of QA/UAT, analyze defects and provide solutions. Provide assistance with production/environment/performance/operational issues related to Oracle Web Center Sites debugging, checking logs and resolving OWCS code related issues Knowledge transfer of developed solutions to client/team resources Participate in development of software user manuals. Collaborate with middleware teams to perform Oracle Webcenter Sites installation/patching activities. Provide support on architecture design, infrastructure planning, sizing, performance testing, performance tuning and disaster recover testing activities Creating service requests with Oracle, performing suggested resolution steps and tracking to completion.
