Identify and eliminate inhibitors. - Maintain written documentation for assigned systems, write, test, and implement complex computer programs and systems. - Resolve one time emergency problems to ensure successful operation of Administrative Systems. Research inquiries from users. Assist with ad hoc reports. Coordinate production schedules among administrative areas at critical time frames. REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): COBOL, IMS, DB2, TSO, SQL, JCL, MVS REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area and three (3) years of experience with computer system development and modification or an Associate Degree with five years of programming experience, or equivalency. Extensive knowledge of hierarchical databases. Some knowledge of relational databases. Effective working knowledge of microcomputer software packages (MS Office, Acrobat). Excellent analytical skills.
