(There is someone currently handling the automated testing with Selenium – this candidate will work closely with this automated tester) · SQL Query abilities needed · Experience testing SAAS would be nice · Will be testing UI/front end of web applications · Communication must be excellent · Must be your own W-2 · Interview via skype · Client: Exact Target · Duration 6 mo+ Below are the formal descriptions *Role**Skills/Responsibilities/Experience**Test Lead*Skills ● Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must have ● Excellent analytical and problem solving skills ● Firm knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Test methodologies ● Proven ability to manage small teams with deadlines, often with competing priorities and complexities ● Ability to prioritize along critical path and meet project milestones and deliverable dates ● Proven working knowledge of testing methods, tools, and software testing best practices ● Ability to understand and translate business requirements ● Ability to operate independently and effectively in a remote team environment ● Will lead/execute testing of new features/changes/fixes as a part of each release as well as design/execute regression test suites to ensure existing functionality is not broken by the new release ● Strong SQL skills, functional, and regression testing experience Responsibilities Under little or no supervision may perform testing planning, test design, or test execution duties in lieu of test engineers when necessary. May monitor work of test engineers to ensure completeness and adherence to test processes and standards. Must be able to perform all duties as the test engineers as well as perform lead duties as needed. Acts as a champion for the test discipline and process and is comfortable communicating with management, development groups, or testing groups. Creates supporting test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flows. Drafts and revises complex test plans and scripts, and has the ability to create traceability matrices. The engineer may also be required to document, execute and maintain regression test suites. Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness test methodology and strategy. Analyzes and designs new or modified testing process and procedures.
