We are looking for multiple candidates to support our client's Openstack
environment.
The ideal candidate is an expert in OpenStack and cloud administration
having at least 1 year of experience setting up and managing an OpenStack
cloud enterprise solution in a production environment as well as having a
solid background with other virtual and cloud environments.
The candidate will need to leverage his/her understanding of Storage
solutions (specifically SAP/SWIF object storage solutions with OpenStack)
as well as to help make the operations function more efficient through
automation. In addition, this candidate will have fundamental
understanding of Linux administrative tasks as well as networking topics.
Job requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working with OpenStack in a production
environment
- Virtual/cloud background with at least 1 year of OpenStack
- Candidate must have at least 10 years of overall experience working in
operations and administrative roles in a large enterprise environment or
service provider
- Experience working in a 24x7 operation of large-scale production
infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of a core programming language such as Python, Java,
Go, C/C++
- Strong Linux Administrative experience and knowledge
- Seeking candidates with demonstrable expertise in one or more of the
following areas:

- large scale storage systems, e.g., Ceph, Swift
- network architecture: data center/LAN, WAN, NFV, SDN
- network security
- authentication, access control and identity management
- end-to-end deployment processes
- automation (Puppet, Chef, etc...)
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- History of engagement with external entities, including open source
communities, vendors, consultants, customers, etc.
