*Reply me on rachel.l...@itbtalent.com <rachel.l...@itbtalent.com>*Job description The developer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, implementing and maintaining a solution for reading ebooks with epub format over the web. • The developer will also be involved in implementing solutions and maintaining web applications for eBook purchasing tools, eBook Circulation reporting and eBook access for library patrons. Required • Ability to translate Requirements and UI wireframes into a web front-end using common technologies (e.g. HTML 5, CSS, Java Script, etc.... • Experience analyzing and using common Java Script Frameworks and tools for front-end web UI's in order to develop and optimize code for performance, productivity and maintainability • Should be able to breakdown tasks and provide estimates in an Agile software development lifecycle. • Proficiency in XHTML\HTML 5, CSS 2\3, Javascript • Experience building apps using backbone,underscore,jquery • Experience in consuming REST based web services. • Exposure to javascript test frameworks and libraries like Selenium, Mocha, Chai, etc. • node.js experience • AngularJS experience • Web backend experience (either java or .NET) • Exposure to source control tools like GIT, SVN • Exposure to issue tracking software like JIRA • Experience in delivering e-content (Audio, ePub, PDF, etc...) to a multitude of modern web client browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc...) • Familiarity with encryption and Digital Rights Management (DRM) for securing digital content • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills • Systems thinker • Ability to work independently • Excellent written and oral communication skills Education: Degree in CS, CE, EE, IT or related field is required.
