This position will monitor our environment to ensure a high availability of our systems, and also perform change management migrations. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Include the following duties, and other duties may be assigned. · WebFOCUSEnvironment installation/configuration · Environment issue downtime investigation/remediation · New Client/Rollup setup/data loads · Individual Client record deletions · Client data corrections through Corrections application · Investigation/remediation of data load process issues (either FOCUS file loads or ER5 Benchmarking issues) · Investigation/remediation of Aux Load process issues · Remediation of security issues when scans are ran and vulnerability identified, including PCIS compliance related items · Assist developers with software patch issues – researching and correcting · Compatibility issues with browsers, MS Office, and remediation of these issues as they relate to BI Application - Performance tuning of environments - Adhere to change management policies - Implementing best practices and standards as it relates to WebFOCUS installations, configurations and security - Involvement with disaster recovery procedures and documentation - Evaluating business requirements and recommending technical solutions. · Projects to be worked are specified by the ITS Manager - Business Intelligence. · Read manuals, periodicals and technical reports to remain current with newest technologies. · Prepares flow charts and diagrams to illustrate server configurations. · Ensure confidentiality of client data. · Understanding of the Travel Industry · Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and meet expected deadlines. · Perform database queries to assist in answering questions and troubleshooting data issues · Ability to work with Account Management and in some cases clients directly. · Ability to setup a new client from beginning to end within the Business Intelligence reporting tool. · Knowledge of other eTTek Solutions products created and maintained by Travel and Transport IT Staff. · Must maintain a good attendance record *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES* This job has no supervisory responsibilities. *QUALIFICATIONS* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent field of study is preferred. 5+ years of WebFOCUS systems experience. *LEARNING PERIOD *3 months *LANGUAGE SKILLS * Ability to read and interpret documents. Strong customer service skills and good oral communications are a must to perform this job. *MATHEMATICAL SKILLS* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. *REASONING ABILITY* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
