Actively participate during all phases of the SDLC and proposes methods for improvements. Understand the needs of customers and groups dependent on the work of the team, and uses this understanding to drive test design. Partition a relatively complex product into a set of features. Use risk management to prioritize product features to be tested. Design the key steps needed as part of the test cases. Put the key steps together to build the test design. Measure how well the test design covers the product features. Execute test cases and report results. Create and manage testing schedules. Proactively look for potential quality issues. Contribute to Technical Reviews and Root Cause Analysis sessions. Find and recommend industry standard testing methodologies and technologies. Apply test design skills to multiple technologies. Implement and execute automated software tests at a functional level ensuring all projects stay on schedule and meeting all relevant deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience creating test plans, test cases and managing User Acceptance Test cycles. Attention to detail, keen curiosity and concise writing skills are critical to this role. The team is collaborative and works well across multiple groups. Listening skills and team player attitude is important.
