Request: Scope of Work:  Weblogic admin with some java and coding
experience.



*Job Description:*

The *Weblogic Admin* is responsible for providing subject matter expertise
and support for projects, problem tickets and change requests for the
*Middleware
infrastructure* with a minimum of *15 years* of experience
specifically for *Web
Portal and Web Application Servers* to include *WebLogic*, *WebSphere*,
*Tomcat*, *JBoss*, *Apache*, *IIS* and *SOA BPM*.

·         Work with developers and business areas to design, configure,
build, troubleshoot, deploy and maintain customized Application Portal
server and related Infrastructure to support project initiatives.

·         Perform migration of code changes to various environments

·         Work closely with server support operations, *Network* and *Security
Operations*, *Load Balancing Operations* for work involving problem
determination and implementation of changes to hardware, software,
applications or network systems. These tasks are not standardized and
require independent thought and problem solving to resolve.

·         Work to standardize and automate repeatable tasks and steps
across multiple accounts to execute Middleware infrastructure environments
and complex product upgrades.

·         Should be highly skilled in developing scripts using *WLST*, *Shell
scripts*, *Perl* and *Puppet scripts*

·         Team members participate daily in cadence discussions on team
performance. They discuss issues or challenges, and receive
trouble-shooting input and advice from other team members. They may also
discuss team performance trends. Team members may also separately interact
and exchange information with members of cross-pool teams.

·         Environmental configuration for Web and Web Application Servers
to include *WebLogic*, *Tomcat*, *Apache*, *JBoss*, *IIS*, *Websphere* and *SOA
BPM*, *PHP*.

·         Work with product managers to translate technical information
into audience relevant information.

·         Ability to demonstrate creative thinking, advanced problem
solving and troubleshooting skills.

·         Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast
paced-dynamic environment.

·         Analyze problems/issues/inquiries, assign severity levels and
follow through to resolution.



*Required Experience:*

·         4+ years of IT industry experience and *Extensive Experience in
Oracle WebLogic 9.2/10.3/11g* and Administration/Deployment and other
Servers (Apache Server, iPlanet & IIS).

·         Proven skills in *Troubleshooting*, *Performance Tuning* and
*Performance
Monitoring* of *Weblogic Server administration*.

·         Experience in *Administration* of *Oracle WebLogic Application
Server 10.2/9.2/8.1*, *Red Hat Linux 6.x/7.x/8.0* and *Windows Work Station*
environments.

·         Solid experience in deploying the applications on multiple
Weblogic Servers and maintaining Load balancing and High availability.
Extensive experience in Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of
Weblogic Application servers in a domain and migration of applications
from *Web
Logic 8.1 and 9.2/11g*.
