Please let me know your interest in this position.* *Title: MES Specialist* *Location: Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Need only GC & USC* *Basic Job Description: * The MES Specialist will directly support the manufacturing operations develop advanced manufacturing systems. This individual is responsible for manufacturing control systems (MES) data collection, control, reporting, interfacing, integration, database development, including coordinating with off-shore support. *Essential Functions (Responsibilities):* These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary. 1. Configure current MES system PLC, HMI/SCADA, Historian, Plant Applications, Reporting, etc. for machine integration. 2. Create custom SQL and custom configured reports. 3. Responsible for troubleshooting all MES related issues which affect Minnetonka Plant, including off-hours support if needed. 4. Integrate MES, ERP, and building systems through configuration and SQL database development. 5. Communicates technical issues and updates to all levels, (Managers, co-workers, maintenance, engineers, operators, ect.) 6. Enhance current MES systems to drive operational metric performance. 7. Analyzes manufacturing needs and converts them into deliverable solutions 8. Perform tasks in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements. 9.
