*What skills/attributes are a must have?*

§  Minimum 10 years in the IT profession

§  Minimum 5 years of experience creating DM / DW architectures (minimum of
5 terabytes)

§  Experience with various data intake, staging and integration methods and
tools

§  Experience building and/or delivering against long-term, strategic
technology roadmaps

§  Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas (both verbally and in writing)
to executives and technologists

§  Ability to consult with business and technology representatives and to
negotiate satisfactory outcomes for all

§  Success leading multiple projects through the entire SDLC

§  Excellent facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills

§  High accountability with a demonstrated ability to deliver

§  Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Be able to connect the dots between different business areas – Sales,
discounts, finance, pricing …

Develop design models including, class and sequence diagrams to communicate
design to the development team
Ensure design for work streams is integrated and opportunities for reuse
are identified which will be essential to support project timing and
efficiencies
Enlist appropriate experts to ensure solutions are fully engaged with
architect processes and principles
Ensure technical solutions pass architecture reviews, technical reviews and
security control reviews
Ensure solutions adhere to IT principles, such as optimizing system design
for performance, maintainability and usability requirements
Need to be innovative to address challenging complexities of project
Be able to do business analysis and then translate the same into the
conceptual, logical and physical models
Be the go to person by the business users, SMEs, IT, developers and testers

*Position  : Big Data Java Solution Architect Location  : Minneapolis,
MNDuration  : 1+ Year Contract*

As a Big Data Java Solution Architect you will take the lead in gaining
technical understanding of Big Data technologies and, in particular, gain
working technical knowledge of managing massive volumes of data leveraging
Hadoop. This role will be working hands-on to develop proofs-of-concepts
