Convert manual test scenarios into automated test cases. The resource will participate in the definition, construction and rollout of the automation framework and assist in the definition and validation of test strategies. *The candidate will prepare estimates for automation projects and recommend process improvements.* Update test execution statistics and metrics following agreed upon processes as part of regularly scheduled status updates. Produce status reports on QA testing progress identifying issues and risks. Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies. REQUIREMENTS Experience in QTP and Quality Center. The ability to lead other test automation engineers in development of automation scripts within assigned time frames. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understand the Software Development Life Cycle and Quality Assurance concepts. Must be detailed oriented and work independently on multiple projects. **Advanced hands-on experience with VB Script, VB* *Expertise in Coding VAPI, UFT and Macro VBA *Advanced SQL knowledge *Estimate test efforts *Defect tracking in ALM *Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies *Demonstrated skill using code repositories *Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Enhance and extend the automation library and framework *Knowledge of financial products and capital markets **5+ years of Test Automation experience* *2 or more years of relevant hands on experience in pricing and validation of fixed income, equity, foreign exchange and commodity based derivatives, especially OTC derivatives *Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform *Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches and automation a plus *Passion for continuing education and improving code quality through interaction with development team *Skills in diagnosing and solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis *BS degree in Computer Sciences or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered), or equivalent work experience. DESIRED SKILLS Minimum of 10 years experience including 5 years test automation system architecture design and implementation.
