*Sr. Teradata Developer* Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6 -12 months • Work with end users to gather the Functional Specifications. • Work on loading data from several flat files sources to Staging using Teradata MLOAD, FastLoad. • Build tables and views. • Write Teradata BTEQ scripts. • Work with the Teradata SQL Assistant to interface with the Teradata. • Partitioned tables which have frequent inserts, deletes and updates to reduce the contention and to improve the performance. • Creating reports and monitoring reports monthly, weekly and daily basis on DB2 database. • Created many complex queries spanning large database for providing the solutions. • Work on scheduling and automating various batch jobs. • Extensive UNIX shell scripting.
