*Infrastructure- IT Project Manager Lake Forest, IL 6 Months* Job Description This position is responsible for several projects varying in size and complexity, across different regions and domains. Projects are related to IT infrastructure, upgrades and the infrastructure part of business initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing project scope, budget, project board, resources, schedule/plan, risk, issues and organizational change management activities. Qualifications Required The candidate is required to have demonstrated ability to successfully: Develop project plans including work breakdown structures, project milestones, critical path analyses, risk assessment and management plans, cost/benefit analyses, staffing plans, project timelines, and project budgets. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of projects. Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, vendors, and other client''''s departments involved in their projects. Prepare and present project status reports for upper management (project boards). Ensure project milestones are met on time and within team and project budgets. Utilize project management methodology (Infrastructure- IT Project Manager) to direct and lead team deliverable development. Drive decisions to ensure the success of projects taking into account timing, risk, functional requirements, and business benefits. Experience and Abilities Bachelor''''s degree in IT and at least 5 years experience as project manager in a relevant field in a complex international environment. Proficiency in project management methodology, project planning tools and techniques. PMP certification or equivalent is a plus. Experience in using Plan view Enterprise System for managing projects is a plus. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; other European languages (such as French, German) are a plus Ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels. Excellent relationship building and networking skills, even when people are remotely and in other time zones. Organized and able to function successfully in a team environment. Experience with implementations of projects with infrastructure components as Project Manager Excellent technical, organizational, troubleshooting, problem solving and budgeting and time management skills. Goal oriented and possess a drive to meet project deliverables and deadlines. Basic knowledge of finance tools and general business operating principles. Automotive industry experience is a plus Global team leadership experience is a plus. Familiarity with office software products including: MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and Visio. Willingness to travel (depending on the projects assigned: up to 30% but likely less).
