Contract Rate: DOE/ Present at best rate

This position can be Contract or Contract to Hire.
For Contract: the consultant should be 80% technical and have 20% leadership
skills
For Contract to Hire the consultant should ahve 60% technical and 40%
leadership skills
The Senior Java Developer position is a “hands on” application development
role that will function as part of a team of Java Developers that leverages
our Service Oriented Architecture to develop new systems or maintain
existing systems. Client’s Java architecture incorporates Java Swing client
development, Web Services, Oracle (formerly BEA) Service Bus (OSB), Oracle
Weblogic Integration (WLI), Oracle Data Abstraction Layer (ODSI) and the
Oracle Relational Database to support high volume transactional business
applications.
Must have skills
strong server-side Java development skills
experience in ODSI, BPEL, WLI, OSB
JBOSS
Apache
Application Server
Nice to Have skills:
SOA
Swing
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Strong knowledge and experience with Object Oriented application
development in the Java environment.
* Team oriented “collaborative” work style that will foster a positive
work environment for members of the team
* Experience with the Eclipse IDE, XML, Web Services, Oracle/BEA SOA
Suite is preferred.
