Position: Release Engineer - Build Scripting Location: Parsippany, NJ Duration: 01-Apr-2011 Task Description Knowledge Transfer to Consulant Knowledge Transfer from techncal support persons at softhotel to consultant. Set up Visual Build Pro Set up Visual Build pro envronment on WHG Windows server. Configure build environment to exactly replicate existing build environment at SoftHotel Inc. Install Sources Install latest copy of softhotel sources and install xml build script. Configure all supporting directories and dependent libraries. Reconfigure Build process Modify build script as required. Create wrapper scripts to bridge ppm and Visual Build Pro. Create build scripting to support builds for multiple environments and multiple platforms: e.g. Web; Server; database; client. Incorporate Accurev SCM for builds. Install Scripts Install all scripting to all environments Test, Rework Test build scripts and migrations. Revise as required. Documentation Create detailed documentation and clearly include comments and WHG trademarking in all scripting. Knowledge Xfer Train WHG release management staff and transfer knowledge to relevant staff.
