The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking an Oracle Business
Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Developer with solid experience and
knowledge in implementing enterprise level RPD’s, reports (BI Publisher,
Answers/Dashboard), and analytics. Candidate must be able to develop RPD’s,
reports, and dashboards. Candidate will be expected to migrate legacy
reporting business logic from SAP (BO/WI, Crystal Reports) and Microsoft
(SSRS). Candidate must demonstrate ability to be productive and effective
in report conversion. Candidate must be capable and committed to delivering
results on-time/on-schedule.

The Enterprise Reporting and Analytics Team is composed of 5 report
developers and a team leader. The team is migrating Microsoft SSRS reports
and SAP Business Objects (v. 4)/Crystal Reports to OBIEE (with Exalytics)
BI Publisher and Answers/Dashboards.  Over 1000+ SAP reports are currently
supported and will be assessed for retirement/replacement using OBIEE.
Approximately 30 SSRS reports also will be converted. Development will be
focused on providing ad hoc analysis to specific business authors and
rolling out reports to business consumers. Current reports utilize the
enterprise data warehouse (Oracle Exadata) and connections to SQL Server
2008/2012 and Oracle 11g/12c databases.

The team develops enterprise reports within IT applications
(internal/external) and on the web. Reports serve all facets of the
transportation enterprise from financials, programs/projects, human
resources, to federally required reporting. The team coordinates with
client, server, network, and database/data warehouse personnel to integrate
supporting IT architecture. Moving forward, ad hoc analytics/dashboards,
geospatial (Esri) integration, and Microsoft Office add-in integration will
also be implemented.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists in OBIEE administration, system maintenance, and upgrades
2. Assists in the administration and implementation of BI system/system
security
3. Building geospatial reports/dashboards
4. Builds OBIEE reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, Answers and
Dashboards
5. Close engagement with Enterprise Architects, Data Warehousing, Database,
and Server Administration teams in collaborative design
6. Configures Ad Hoc query and Reporting environments
7. Deliver solid, scalable, robust BI reporting/analytic solutions
8. Design, develop, and document OBIEE repository/metadata
9. Develop, implement, and maintain data cubes, loading data, dimensions,
calculating data and aggregation techniques
10. Developing MS Office based content using Oracle Office tools
11. Manage capacity and performance requirements
12. Models, configures and optimizes the RPD/Universes from Data Warehouse
(OLAP) and databases (OLTP)
13. Perform unit, system and integration testing
14. Prepare estimates of time for design and development
15. Provide design and development mentorship/cross-training with fellow
team members
16. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with minimal user
disruption
17. Working in a team environment to develop reports and/or dashboards

Required Skills:
1. 2+ years of experience with OBIEE Answers, Dashboards, and  BI Publisher
2. 2+ years of experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and
dimensional data modeling
3. 4 year Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in IT, data
science, or business
4. 5+ years of experience as an Oracle BI development using OBIEE with deep
expertise in RDP design/development
5. 5+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, etc.
6. 8+ years of IT development experience
7. Ability to design reports in a logical, user friendly, and easy to
understand format
