DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A. Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 installation, configuration, tuning and administration. B. Develop Stored Procedures and functions to assist with .NET development activities. C. Analyzing query and stored procedures execution plans and tuning them. D. Production support to resolve data issues in SQL databases. E. Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio development to develop SSIS packages. F. Participate in development of enterprise-class applications with Visual Studio 2008. G. Position requires high level of independent judgment in decisions relating to database development. H. Position requires excellent problem solving skills. I. Frequent interaction with Product owners. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE A. 5-8 years of designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server Databases. B. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Transact SQL. C. Experience with Data Transformation Services (DTS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). D. Expertise in the internal storage structure and retrieval of indexes and data and optimize them. E. Data analysis, movement and conversion expertise. F. 3-4 years of T-SQL programming with SQL Server. G. Experience or good understanding of agile project methodologies. H. Ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks. I. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. J. Strong work ethic, including team and goal orientation. K. Self motivated and positive attitude. L. MCDBA or MCITP Certification would be a plus. M. BS or MS in Computer Science a strong plus.
